FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville’s dance community has a new place to move, create and connect following the grand opening of Purpose Dance Studio.
The studio celebrated its opening Sunday, Sept. 20, at 2700 Breezewood Ave. in Fayetteville, welcoming dancers, families and community supporters for an afternoon centered around music, movement and the studio’s plans for the future.
Purpose Dance Studio specializes in hip-hop and street-style dance, while also offering instruction in breaking, popping, ballet foundations, tap and contemporary dance.
The grand opening gave visitors an opportunity to meet studio owner Vyree Young, connect with Purpose’s dance instructors and learn more about the programs available to local dancers.
The free celebration included dancing with DJ PuzzAll, all-ages cypher sessions, giveaways, photo opportunities and Purpose T-shirts. The studio also shared sponsor information, released its digital Parent Handbook and announced plans for its growing dance community.
