FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A little country music glamour is coming to Hay Street as Downtown Fayetteville celebrates Dolly Parton with a special Dolly Day photo stop Friday, Sept. 25.
The celebration will take place at Art Alley, 222 Hay Street, where visitors can stop by a Dolly-themed photo station, take pictures and leave a love note celebrating the country music icon.
The downtown attraction offers fans a chance to bring out the rhinestones, sparkle and unmistakable style associated with a performer whose career has stretched across generations.
Parton has spent decades as one of country music’s most recognizable figures, building a catalog that includes classics such as “Jolene,” “9 to 5” and “Coat of Many Colors.” Her influence has extended beyond music through film, business and philanthropy, including her widely recognized efforts supporting childhood literacy.
