2026 Dogwood Festival Closes Out Weekend In Downtown Fayetteville NC

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The final day of the 2026 Fayetteville Dogwood Festival wrapped up Sunday with improving weather conditions and continued crowds throughout downtown after early morning drizzle and rain moved through the area.

By midday, skies began clearing as visitors returned to Festival Park and surrounding streets to enjoy the final hours of one of Fayetteville’s largest annual events.

Carnival rides, food vendors and retail booths remained active across the festival grounds, while Festival Park continued hosting entertainment and food trucks throughout the day.

Ray Avenue and Maiden Lane were also filled with craft vendors, local businesses and informational booths, giving guests additional attractions to explore across the downtown district.

From classic fair food and desserts to shopping and live entertainment, the festival atmosphere remained energetic as families, visitors and residents closed out the weekend celebration.

Festival organizers, along with the Fayetteville Police Department and Downtown Alliance, were recognized by many attendees for helping coordinate and support the large-scale community event.
