FAYETTEVILLE FURY WOMEN’S SOCCER TEAM JOINS USL W LEAGUE, PAVING THE WAY FOR WOMEN’S SOCCER EXCELLENCE

Fayetteville, NC — The Fayetteville Fury Women’s Team has officially entered the prestigious USL W League, marking a significant leap forward in advancing women’s soccer in Fayetteville. This move underscores the commitment to empower women in sports, promote gender equity, and provide exceptional career development opportunities for local athletes.

The USL W League, known as the nation’s premier pre-professional soccer league, serves as a bridge between collegiate and professional soccer, offering a platform for emerging female soccer stars. With 65 teams competing across 23 states in its second season and expansion underway for 2024, the league will now include the Fayetteville Fury Women’s Team.

The Fayetteville Fury shares the USL W League’s dedication to women’s soccer’s societal impact and community involvement. Together, they aim to strengthen the sport and create positive changes locally.
