ACLU requests Fayetteville Police’s policies, practices, and procedures for tracking cell phone records
The American Civil Liberties Union released the results of public records requests filed last August to the Fayetteville Police Department. Many local police departments across the country were asked about their policies, practices, and procedures for tracking cell phone records. They said that, it’s no secret that, how to look up public arrest records has changed over the last 10 years, the internet being the main reason. Below is a response given from the local police department and signed by Chief of Police Bergamine. For more information about The American Civil Liberties Union, click here.
