FAYETTEVILLE, NC – The community is set to gather at Festival Park, 335 Ray Avenue, on July 22, 2023, for the 8th Annual “MAN 22” Suicide Awareness Run. The free event, starting at 9 AM, is open to all, and aims to raise awareness for suicide prevention.

In recent years, the rise in suicide rates has alarmed communities nationwide. Responding to the crisis, the organizers of “MAN 22” invite the public to stand together, running in memory of those lost and in support of those who struggle. There’s no sign-up required – just the desire to make a difference.

The event features prominent guest speakers, including Council Member Kathy Jensen, Fayetteville Police Chief Kemberle Braden , and retired MSG Chris Corbin. They will share their insights and stories, providing inspiration and raising consciousness about mental health issues.
