Angel Tree Applications Open Oct. 1

FAYETTEVILLE, NC — The holiday season is quickly approaching, and local organizations are coming together to ensure every child experiences the joy of Christmas morning. Marine Toys for Tots has partnered with The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program to bring hope and holiday cheer to families in need across the region.

Applications for the 2025 Angel Tree program will be accepted from October 1 through October 31, 2025. Families with children aged 17 and under residing in Cumberland, Hoke, Moore, Robeson, and Scotland counties are eligible to apply.

To apply, families should visit The Salvation Army Angel Tree website at www.saangeltree.org. Applicants will need to provide a valid photo ID for all adults in the household, a birth certificate or Medicaid card for each child, and proof of income and household expenses. These documents ensure that assistance is provided to families who need it most.

For help or questions regarding the application process, contact The Salvation Army representative Angela Hughes at 910-483-8119 or Toys for Tots coordinator Tiffany Jones at 910-479-4107.

Through this partnership, Toys for Tots and The Salvation Army aim to make sure no child wakes up without the joy and excitement of Christmas morning. Community members are encouraged to share this information with families who may benefit and apply before the October 31 deadline.
