Methodist University Hosted a “Pop Up & Pitch” Contest for BIPOC Businesses
Fayetteville, NC — Methodist University, in partnership with Tulsa Initiative, Inc., hosted the innovative Pop Up and Pitch competition on April 19th. This event, aimed at supporting BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) entrepreneurs, offered participants the opportunity to pitch business ideas for a chance to win a $500 prize.
The competition is part of a broader initiative by both organizations to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in entrepreneurship, and to expose aspiring BIPOC entrepreneurs to the importance of business ownership, community solutions, and business scalability.
