Free Donuts on National Donut Day

National Donut Day was celebrated here in Fayetteville, NC.  FayToday stopped by the well-known Krispy Kreme location for a couple dozen donuts.  On this celebrated holiday, customers were entitled to one free donut, without any purchase.  Dunkin Donuts hosted a similar promotion, but one drink purchase was necessary to redeem a free donut.

Donut Day was created by the help of Salvation Army who passed out donuts to US soldiers years ago.  Today, its a continued tradition and great place to visit on June 1st.  Below are a few pictures of the Bragg Boulevard location in Fayetteville, NC.
