LUMBERTON, NC – Basketball fans and young athletes will gather at Bill Sapp Recreation Center on Thursday, February 15, for the Panthers Basketball Showdown and Jr. NBA Clinic. The highly anticipated event will feature a 4:00 PM tipoff, with a Jr. NBA Clinic scheduled earlier at 2:30 PM.
Jr. NBA Clinic Offers Skills and Development for Youth Players
The Jr. NBA Clinic provides young athletes an opportunity to develop their skills while learning from experienced coaches. Open to players of all levels, the session focuses on fundamental techniques, teamwork, and sportsmanship, creating an engaging and educational experience for participants.
Honoring Zion Gibbs and Raising Awareness for Safer Communities
This year’s season opener is dedicated to Zion Gibbs, honoring his memory and raising awareness for gun violence prevention. The event aims to bring the community together in support of safer neighborhoods and positive change.
