2023 Cumberland County Fair Kicks Off Sept 1st at the Crown Complex, Fayetteville, NC
FAYETTEVILLE, NC – The much-awaited annual event, the 2023 Cumberland County Fair, is all set to welcome attendees from September 1-10 at the Crown Complex, located at 1960 Coliseum Dr.
For those who’ve been yearning for the sweet and savory aroma of funnel cakes, or if local agriculture piques your interest, the fair promises an array of attractions to delight visitors of all ages. And for the social media enthusiasts, it offers a plethora of vibrant backdrops for that perfect selfie!
The fair has always been a hub for creating unforgettable memories. Whether it’s a spin on the thrilling rides, enjoying local entertainment, or just immersing oneself in the cherished traditions, the Cumberland County Fair is a staple event that residents eagerly await each year.
Discount Days and Entry Schedule:
- Friday, Sept. 1: Healthcare professionals enter for free. Entry is $5 for kids aged 3-12 and $10 for those 13 and older.
- Saturday, Sept. 2: Both adults and kids over 3 years of age have a general admission fee of $10.
- Sunday, Sept. 3: It’s Faith Day! Church bulletin holders get a $5 discount. Entry rates are $5 for kids 3-12 and $10 for 13+.
- Monday, Sept. 4: From 12 pm to 3 pm, it’s Sensory Day, with a general admission of $10 for adults and kids above 3.
- Tuesday, Sept. 5: Entry is just $2, though do note that wristbands for rides are an extra cost.
- Wednesday, Sept. 6: A ‘Buy One Get One’ offer is available, and seniors aged 65 and up enter for free.
- Thursday, Sept. 7: With a donation, attendees can get a discount on entry. 4-H & FFA members enter for free, students with ID can enter for $2, and all other attendees for $5.
- Friday, Sept. 8: General admission is $10 for both adults and kids over 3.
- Saturday, Sept. 9: The Youth Step Show is on, and for $15, you get entry to the show and the fair.
- Sunday, Sept. 10: Entry is free for military personnel and first responders, $5 for kids between 3-12, and $10 for those 13 and up.
Tickets for entry/admission can be purchased from Ticketmaster, and while individual ride tickets are available individually or fairgoers can opt for an unlimited ride wristband for $30.
Rides at the fair will be provided by Big Rock Amusements, a trusted name owned by Matt & Kelly McDonagh. Having started in 2010, they have expanded from 10 to an impressive 30 rides. With a focus on quality and upholding family values, they’ve established a remarkable reputation in the amusement business.
