Fayetteville State University Chancellor Darrell T. Allison Named to Business NC’s Power List
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Fayetteville State University Chancellor Darrell T. Allison, J.D., has been recognized by Business NC as one of the state’s most influential leaders, earning a place on its Power List 2023: Education. This list, which was announced on the magazine’s website and in its May 2023 print issue, acknowledges the contributions of top leaders shaping the future of education in the state.
Allison, who also made the list in 2022, shares this year’s honor with 23 other esteemed North Carolina education leaders, including several chancellors and presidents within the University of North Carolina (UNC) System.

It highlighted the remarkable growth and investment he has championed in FSU, the City of Fayetteville, Cumberland County, and the Sandhills region. His initiatives have led to the introduction of new businesses, and the upgrading and establishment of new campus buildings and facilities.
