The 2011 Dogwood Festival is here again! The food, music, crowd, fireworks, and Fayetteville spirit feels the air. Downtown Fayetteville will celebrate throughout the weekend. In the last years, this event has been a great success with award and record breaking notoriety. The 2010 festival concluded with light rain, yet attendees had no problem walking around with umbrellas to experience the festivities. Come see. Family and friends are noticeable sites, not to mention the great music, foods, and sponsors mixed in the crowd.
For Fayetteville residents, this festival is an open invitation to social festivities like no other. The biggest event for miles away. For those in the surrounding areas, the festival serves as a symbolic part of the Fayetteville culture. Many travel to view the Fayetteville Downtown area spectacle to join the jubilant crowd. In the event schedule below, try to find some activities to enjoy or view the map to locate vendor areas. Invite a friend and go downtown Fayetteville to witness and experience the festival April 29 – May 1st 2011!
