Free Christmas Trees Offered to Active Duty Service Members Through Trees for Troops

Voucher Distribution Begins December 1
Vouchers for free Christmas trees will be available beginning December 1, 2025, at 9 a.m. and may be picked up at Leisure Travel Services. Either the active duty service member or their spouse may collect a voucher. Supplies are limited, and distribution will take place on a first-come, first-served basis. Each family is limited to one voucher.
Tree Pickup on December 5
Christmas trees will be available for pickup on December 5, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Smith Lake Recreation Area. Each voucher is redeemable for one tree, offering military families a meaningful way to celebrate the season at no cost.
