U.S. Army Airborne & Special Operations Museum Reopens to the Public November 14, 2025

Fayetteville, NC — The U.S. Army Airborne & Special Operations Museum will officially reopen its doors on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 10 a.m., welcoming visitors back to one of downtown Fayetteville’s most significant cultural and historical landmarks. After its temporary closure, the museum is ready once again to share the powerful stories of the Soldiers who shaped Airborne and Special Operations history.

A Landmark Rich With History and Honor
Guests will be able to explore the museum’s extensive exhibits spanning World War II through modern-day missions, offering a detailed look into the evolution, sacrifices, and triumphs of America’s elite forces. The reopening also brings visitors back to the iconic Iron Mike statue and the Museum’s Memorial & Reflection Garden — a serene and meaningful place dedicated to honoring those who served in Airborne and Special Operations units.

Reopening Day Gift Shop Sale
To celebrate reopening day, the Museum Gift Shop is offering 15% off all in-store purchases. The sale applies only to in-person shopping and does not extend to online orders, giving visitors an extra reason to stop in and support the museum’s mission.
