Touch The Truck Event in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE, NC — Families are invited to celebrate First Responders Month with an exciting, hands-on community event at Touch The Truck, taking place Saturday, October 4, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 300 Glensford Drive in Fayetteville.

This family-friendly event gives children and parents the rare opportunity to climb aboard, honk the horn, and explore real fire trucks, ambulances, and other emergency response vehicles up close. It’s a fun and educational experience designed to honor local heroes while helping the community better understand the vital role first responders play in keeping Fayetteville safe.

Hosted at Glensford, the event will feature activities for kids, photo opportunities, and the chance to meet firefighters, EMTs, and police officers who serve the community every day. Families are encouraged to come out, interact, and enjoy a day of learning and appreciation.

The Touch The Truck event aims to bring together residents of all ages to celebrate teamwork, safety, and community spirit — while saying thank you to those who dedicate their lives to protecting others.
