Fayetteville State Homecoming 2025: Quick Guide

FAYETTEVILLE, NC — Fayetteville State University (FSU) is gearing up for an unforgettable Homecoming Week 2025, running October 5–12 with a full lineup of events for students, alumni, and the entire Bronco community. From the classic downtown parade to alumni mixers, student showcases, and the big game, this year’s theme celebrates tradition, pride, and unity under the Bronco spirit.

The Parade
Saturday, October 11 | 9:00 AM
The celebration kicks off with the Annual Homecoming Parade, a family-friendly spectacle featuring vibrant floats, high-stepping bands, and Fayetteville

pride. The parade route runs through Downtown Fayetteville — from the Market House to Winslow Street — drawing in alumni, students, and local residents alike.

The Big Game
Saturday, October 11 | 1:00 PM
All eyes turn to Luther Nick Jeralds Stadium at 1600 Murchison Road, where the FSU Broncos face off against Livingstone College in what promises to be an action-packed matchup. Expect a sea of blue and white as fans rally behind the Broncos.

Alumni Celebrations
Homecoming is also a time for reconnection. Alumni are invited to a week filled with receptions, mixers, and social gatherings.
On Thursday, October 9, festivities begin with Alumni Check-In & Welcome Reception from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bronco Welcome Center in Founders Quad, followed by the Welcome Home Broncos NAA event from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at Embassy Suites. Later that evening, Alumni & Friends gather for a Cocktail Party from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Embassy Suites, and “Hangout Thursday” takes place from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Main Event Fayetteville.

On Friday, October 10, the Young Alumni Mixer runs from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Haymount Truck Stop, followed by the Coronation & Awards Ceremony “A Royal Affair” from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at SpringHill Suites. The night continues with the Broncos House Party featuring DJ Rayn from 8:00 PM to 12:30 AM at Embassy Suites.

Saturday, October 11, begins with the Reunion Class Lunch & Photos from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the RJSC Amphitheatre. Alumni can then enjoy networking and tailgating from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Alumni Tent near Capel Arena. The evening ends with the “Broncos on the Ground” Party featuring DJ Complex from 8:00 PM to 12:30 AM at Embassy Suites.

On Sunday, October 12, the Bronco Unity Fellowship & Memorial Service begins at 9:00 AM at Embassy Suites, followed by the Miss FSU Alumnae Queens’ Legacy Tea later that day (time TBD) at the same location.

Student Events
FSU students can look forward to a week packed with spirited activities and campus energy.
On Wednesday, October 8, the Alumni Panel for the Class of 2025 will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rudolph Jones Student Center. The Homecoming Coronation takes place Thursday, October 9, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Felton J. Capel Arena.

Friday, October 10, brings the Ultimate Bronco Trailride from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the RJSC Amphitheatre & Lots C2/Z, followed by the Homecoming Step Show from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM (doors open at 6:00 PM) at Felton J. Capel Arena.

Saturday, October 11, features multiple showings of “The Dark Side of the Moon” at the FSU Planetarium (11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM, and 7:00 PM). The day concludes with the Center

Stage & Greek Life Showcase from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Founders’ Quad and the Greek Plots.
