Free After-School Program Empowers Autism Families Through Art and Technology
FAYETTEVILLE, NC — Local nonprofit Follow the Spectrum is launching a creative new opportunity for students on the autism spectrum with its free after-school program, ATLAS (Art & Technology Leading Aspiring Superheroes). The innovative program combines art, design, and digital media to help students discover their creative potential while building real-world skills.

Open to students in grades 5 through 8, ATLAS offers hands-on lessons in graphic design and digital art using popular tools like Canva. Participants will have the opportunity to create real projects, showcase their work within the community, and develop confidence through creative expression.
The four-week program begins September 8, with additional sessions planned for November, January, and March. Classes are held every Monday from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Two Six Labs, Orange St School, located at 600 Orange Street in Fayetteville.
Enrollment is completely free for local families, making it an accessible way for students with autism to explore technology and art in a supportive, inclusive setting.
Businesses and individuals are also invited to help sponsor a student. Contributions can be made via Cash App: $FTS910 or PayPal: PayPal.me/FTS910. Sponsors will have their business featured on all program marketing materials and the organization’s website.
