FAYETTEVILLE, NC — The countdown is on for one of the city’s biggest pop culture weekends of the year. Fayetteville Fan Fest Weekend 2025 will take over the Crown Complex from October 17–19, uniting fans of comics, cosplay, gaming, and entertainment for a full weekend of excitement, celebrity guests, and family fun.
The celebration kicks off Friday night, October 17, with the Fan Fest Kickoff Party at Two Two Six The Warehouse, located at 226 Donaldson Street. The party begins at 8 PM and is powered by DJ Jimmie V, featuring music, dancing, and cosplay-friendly fun for attendees ages 21 and older. Admission is $15, and costumes are encouraged.
The main event runs Saturday and Sunday, October 18–19, inside the Crown Expo Center, where fans can meet artists, actors, and creators from across the entertainment industry. Among this year’s featured guests are Brian Shearer, known for his work on Transformers, G.I. Joe, Doctor Who, and Gunship Thunderpunch; Marilyn Ghigl iotti, star of Clerks, Jay & Silent Bob Reboot, and Evolution Wars; and Giovonnie Samuels, beloved for her roles in All That, Raven’s Home, and Bring It On.
In addition to panels, photo ops, and vendors, attendees can catch live professional wrestling courtesy of The 2-6 Wrestling Academy and Next Level Pro Wrestling, with front-row seats and group photo opportunities available.

Families are encouraged to stop by the Autism Trunk or Treat, a free, superhero-themed event hosted by Follow the Spectrum on Saturday, October 18, from 3 PM to 7 PM at the Crown Complex. This sensory-friendly celebration welcomes all children — with no spooky costumes — and features candy, giveaways, vendors, and informational resources for families.
