Free Pet Adoptions at Cumberland County Animal Services — June 11–17

Fayetteville, NC — Cumberland County Animal Services is sounding the alarm. With kennels at full capacity and more animals arriving daily, the shelter is urgently calling on the community for help to avoid the heartbreaking possibility of euthanasia due to overcrowding.

From June 11 through June 17, adoption fees for all dogs and cats will be completely waived. This lifesaving promotion includes essential ve terinary services such as spay or neuter surgery, microchipping, vaccinations, deworming, and initial health screenings.

Many of the animals available are already house-trained, leash-trained, and friendly with children and other pets — making them ready for their forever homes.

For those unable to adopt, fostering is another powerful way to help. Fostering is free and flexible. The shelter provides everything needed, including food, a crate, a leash, and veterinary support — all that’s required is your time and care.

Cumberland County Animal Services is located at 4704 Corporation Drive in Fayetteville. Shelter hours are Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
