Fayetteville, NC — To support students and families during Spring Break 2025, the Cumberland County School Nutrition Association will host a Drive-Thru Food and Supply Distribution on Saturday, April 12, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, or while supplies last. The event will be held at the CCS Operations Center, located at 810 Gillespie Street, Fayetteville, NC 28306.
This initiative is designed to ensure that children in the community continue to have access to essential items when school is out. Families are reminded that children must be present in the vehicle to receive supplies.

In 2024, the program provided over 80 0 “Sunshine Bags” filled with food and hygiene items to CCS students in need. Organizers aim to exceed that number in 2025, with expanded offerings that include additional food resources, personal care products, and helpful information for families.
The event is hosted by Cumberland County Schools Nutrition Services with support from key partners including Second Harvest Food Bank, Harris Teeter, Walmart, CCS Child Nutrition, and others.
Those interested in sponsoring or volunteering are encouraged to sign up by April 7. Volunteers can scan the event QR code or contact CCS Nutrition Services directly.
