Construction Resumes at Mazarick Park Tennis Center After Delays

Once completed, the new tennis center will include 15 tennis courts, a championship court, four pickleball courts, locker rooms, a player lounge, dedicated instructional areas, and a pro shop. The space is being designed to serve players of all ages and levels, supporting both recreational use and organized programs including tournaments, youth camps, and adult leagues.
The project is funded through a combination of the voter-approved Parks and Recreation bond and federal dollars provided by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). After legal and contractual complications with the original contractor, the city awarded a new construction contract in early 2025 to M&E Contracting.
