This is the latest on closures, schedules, and resources for Fayetteville, Hope Mills, and Cumberland County.

City of Fayetteville

• Trash Pickup: Begins at 5:30 AM Friday. Yard waste collection resumes next week.
• FAST Bus Service:
  • Ends at 5 PM today.
  • Sat/Sun: Limited service starts at 10 AM with exceptions:
    • Route 4: 9:53 AM at VA Hospital Ramsey.
    • Route 7: 10:24 AM at Ireland Dr. (Sunday as well).
• Road Crews: Treating roads. Avoid travel or drive cautiously.
• Fayetteville Regional Airport: Check directly with airlines for updates.
• Fayetteville Parks & Recreation:
  • Closing at 5 PM today.
  • Closed Saturday and Sunday (Jan. 11–12), including gated parks.
  • Normal operations resume Monday, Jan. 13.

Town of Hope Mills

• Trash Pickup: Begins at 5 AM Friday. Place bins curbside early for collection before icy conditions.

Cumberland County

• Closures:
  • DSS at 1225 Ramsey St.: Closing at 2 PM.
  • Courthouse: Closing at 2 PM.
• Warming Centers:
  • DSS: 1225 Ramsey St., 7:30 AM–5 PM.
  • Health Dept: 1235 Ramsey St., 8 AM–5 PM.
  • Libraries: All branches open 9 AM–6 PM.
  • Rec Centers: Hours and info at fcpr.us.
  • FAST Lobby: 505 Franklin St.
  • Fay Cares: 128 S. King St., 9 AM–5 PM.
• White Flag Shelters:
  • True Vine J Center: Closed.
  • Cornerstone: 111 N. Bragg Blvd., 6 PM–8 AM (Pickup at 6 PM at Fay Cares).
  • Salvation Army: 245 Alexander St., 6:30 PM–7 AM.
