Public Safety Youth Academy
The Public Safety Youth Academy is a joint program sponsored by the Fayetteville Police Department and the Fayetteville Fire Department. The Academy is free for teens with meals provided by local businesses.
The Academy is held every year for more than 20 teens between the ages of 12 and 16. Students will participate in a variety of public safety related activities ranging from a law enforcement simulator to hands on experience with firefighting equipment.
The annual Public Safety Youth Academy will be kicking off on Monday, June 25th this year. The Academy runs through to June 29, 2012 and will be held at the Fayetteville Police Department Training Center and the Fire Training Facility.
