Methodist University Hosted a “Pop Up & Pitch” Contest for BIPOC Businesses

Fayetteville, NC — Methodist University, in partn

ership with Tulsa Initiative, Inc., hosted the innovative Pop Up and Pitch competition on April 19th. This event, aimed at supporting BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) entrepreneurs, offered participants the opportunity to pitch business ideas for a chance to win a $500 prize.

rt of a broader initiative by both organizations to p romote diversity, equity, and inclusion in entrepreneurship, and to expose aspiring BIPOC entrepreneurs to the importance of business ownership, community solutions, and business scal ability.
