Free Kids Summer Program Brings Stories, Fun, and Learning to Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE, NC — Children across Cumberland County are in for a treat this summer with the launch of Shon’s Summer Stories, a lively and high-energy storytime series designed to inspire young minds through reading, fun, and creativity. The free program begins Wednesday, July 16, and will be held every Wednesday at 2:00 PM at the Main Headquarters Library, 300 Maiden Lane in downtown Fayetteville.

Perfect for Ages 3 to 8
Open to children ages 3 to 8, Shon’s Summer Stories requires no sign-up — families can simply show up and enjoy. Each week, participants can expect an engaging storytime filled with expression and enthusiasm, hands-on arts and crafts activities to spark creativity, and a special bonus — two free books for every child in attendance.
