FAYETTEVILLE, NC — Festival Park will come alive on Saturday, August 16, 2025, as Fayetteville’s biggest Southern-style celebration, the Downtown Rodeo Party, kicks off an evening of live music, line dancing, food, and family fun in the heart of downtown. The event runs from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and promises an energetic mix of entertainment, shopping, and community spirit.
Entertainment Lineup
Special guest Cupid, known as “The Line Dance King,” will perform live, leading the crowd through his signature moves. DJ Tommie Lee and DJ Yodo will keep the music going throughout the night, with hosts Domanique and Stephanie guiding the festivities. Attendees will also enjoy performances by Taco, Keeya, and Patricia.
Activities and Attractions
Highlights include food trucks, local vendor shopping, a VIP lounge, mechanical bull rides, bounce houses, family games, a photo booth, giveaways, and prize raffles. Face painting will be available for kids, and general admission is just $20 with the promo code “RODEO.” Children under 12 get in free.
After Party
The celebration continues from 10:30 PM to 1:00 AM at Two Two Six The Warehouse, 226 Donaldson Street, with music, line dancing, and a lively late-night atmosphere.
Policies and Guidelines
Clear bags are encouraged, with approved items including clear totes, wristlets, diaper bags, and ziplocks. Prohibited items include weapons, pets (except service animals), tents, bikes, coolers, and full backpacks. Masks that conceal identity are not permitted under N.C. Gen. Stat. § 14-12.8, and all bags will be checked by event staff.
