FAYETTEVILLE, NC — Local nonprofit Follow the Spectrum is rallying the community to help neurodiverse, autistic, and underserved students start the school year with the tools they need to succeed. The organization is collecting new school supplies now through Friday, August 15, leading up to its Back to School Bash on Saturday, August 16, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Dick’s House of Sport, 2741 Freedom Parkway Drive in Fayetteville.

School supplies can be dropped off at several participating locations across Fayetteville, including Cuppa Yo at Freedom Town Center (plus, enjoy 10% off frozen yogurt), Panera Bread at 4807 Ramsey Street, Schwab’s Automotive at 110 Carvers Falls Road, The School of Hope at 111 Burns Street, Dick’s House of Sport at 2741 Freedom Parkway Drive, and Cole Pediatric Therapy at 2713 Breezewood Avenue.
Items Needed
Requested items include pencils, notebooks, folders, crayons, glue sticks, scissors, paper, lunchboxes, highlighters, and sensory-friendly supplies. Bulk donations and online contributions are also welcomed.
