Fayetteville, NC — This summer, teens from across Fayetteville are trading in their free time for hard hats and tool belts as they participate in a five-day Habitat for Humanity Youth Construction Camp. The camp is more than just building structures—it’s about learning valuable trade skills, teamwork, and the importance of giving back to the community.
With the summer heat in full swing, Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity is calling on the community to help keep these young builders and their volunteer mentors hydrated and energized. Donations of snacks and drinks are needed to support the campers throughout their workdays.
Suggested donations include fresh fruit such as bananas and oranges, hydration options like Gatorade, water, sparkling water, and juice boxes, as well as shelf-stable snacks like crackers, muffins, granola bars, fruit snacks, chips, KIND bars, Clif Kid Zbars, Nutri-Grain bars, and individually wrapped treats.
Items can be dropped off at the Fayetteville Area Habitat office located at 733 Bargain Street between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM daily (closed on July 4). Additional drop-offs will be accepted at Sweet Valley Ranch during camp week from July 28 to August 1.
