NC Symphony to Perform Free Concert at Methodist University
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The North Carolina Symphony will return to Methodist University for a live performance next Friday, offering a free concert at the Huff Concert Hall. The event, scheduled for Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m., will feature some of the most celebrated works in classical music, including Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons,” Bologne’s “Overture to L’Amant Anonyme,” and Mendelssohn’s “Symphony No. 1.”
The concert will be conducted by Michelle Merrill, with violinist Jacqueline Saed Wolborsky featured as the soloist in Vivaldi’s renowned piece. The North Carolina Symphony, a highly regarded ensemble known for its artistic excellence, last performed at Methodist University earlier this year on February 1.
Admission to the concert is free, but tickets are required. Tickets can be reserved online or picked up in person at various locations around Fayetteville, including the Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County at 301 Hay St., Betty Kelly’s Gift Shop at 1228 Fort Bragg Rd., and The Pilgrim Gifts at 160 Westwood Shopping Center.
