Juneteenth Freedom Block Party Set for June 22 on Maxwell St, Fayetteville NC
Fayetteville, NC – The celebration of Juneteenth continues in Fayetteville with the Freedom Block Party, a community event filled with fun, food, and festivity. Scheduled for June 22nd from 4PM to 9PM, the party will take place on Maxwell Street and is free to the public.
The event features live music from local artists, a variety of food trucks offering delicious eats, and an exclusive VIP Lounge for an enhanced experience. The Freedom Block Party aims to honor Juneteenth’s historical significance while providing a platform for community engagement and enjoyment.
The celebrations extend into the next day with The Heritage Brunch at Carver’s Creek State Park. Happening on June 23rd from 11AM to 2PM, this brunch will include entertainment, ancestral reverence, and a keynote speech from Senator Val Applewhite.
