“Sister Act” at Cape Fear Regional Theatre: A Divine Musical Comedy
Fayetteville, NC – Cape Fear Regional Theatre will host the feel-good musical “Sister Act,” on stage from May 2 through 26, 2024. The production tells the story of Deloris Van Cartier, a nightclub singer forced into protective custody after witnessing a murder. Deloris finds refuge in a convent and reluctantly assumes the guise of a nun. Despite her struggles to blend in, her talent and passion for music turn a faltering choir into a sensation that revitalizes the convent and community.
Two special nights have been organized for this production:
- Military Appreciation Night: May 8, sponsored by U-Move U-Haul
- Teacher Appreciation Night: May 10, sponsored by Cape Fear Eye Associates
Tickets range from $19 to $37 and can be purchased online. The show is rated PG-13 for some adult language and themes, making it an excellent choice for a date night or a fun outing with friends and family.
