FayToday Community News

In mid-April 2011, tornadoes ripped through our area, leaving many displaced, with property damage, or shocked by the horrific aftermath. Tornadoes touched down on Yadkin Road's business district, North Fayetteville's College Lakes community, and further north near GoodYear Tire plant. FayToday quickly listed sources of assistance, from FEMA to Red Cross Highland Chapter. We even found many willing neighbors and concerned small businesses that offered free cleanup.
