Extreme Makeover: Home EditionThe Crown Coliseum held a Pep Rally which announced Fayetteville NC as the selected city for the upcoming episode. The home was selected a week later to Barbara Marshall of The Jubilee House, a womens’ veterans homeless shelter. Its located on 120 Langdon St (near FSU, Ramsey St, Murchison Rd). Blue Ridge Log Cabins from South Carolina and the Extreme Makeover team began plans to rebuild, quickly! Local businesses and volunteers contributed in the home building blitz, which took less than a week to complete. As progress was visible everyday, more spectators and media attention grew outside the site location. Senator Kay Hagan and First Lady Michelle Obama visited the site to show support for the new home. Michelle Obama was present at the unveiling of the huge home which included an enormous smile from Barbara Marshall and her family. Visit today by riding by Langdon St. Check out the social media below! MENU: Special Performance on-site Start of the Project Michelle Obama After: New Jubilee House |
